Our suppliers
Local, local, local
Sulgrave Village Shop policy is to source local, buy local and support local business and producers. We have a growing list of products that come from local suppliers and we're intent to grow this over the coming year.
Green economy
Our suppliers operate to the highest standards and are all committed to developing the rural and green economy. The closer the supplier, the fewer food miles the product will create - therefore our focus on local also helps with our ambition to become as sustainable as a village shop can be.
Village connections
Sulgrave is home to Windmill Orchards one of the only organic top fruit suppliers in our region. The orchards produce thirteen kinds of English apple, three kinds of pears, three kinds of plums, quince and walnuts. Windmill Orchards produce a fine organic apple juice - a real favourite in the village and across the region. For more information about Windmill Orchards call +44 (0)1295 760194 or email info@windmillorchards.co.uk.

Spice Rack Trader
Banbury
Spice Rack Trader was set up in May 2000 by Husband and Wife, Dean (who is of Italian origin) and Gurdeep (who is of Indian origin). Because of their roots, they use a wide variety of herbs, spices and other cooking ingredients which they found were not readily available. Due to their passion for cooking they began looking into the herb and spice industry.
Not only are they constantly developing an innovating range, they also spend time writing, for example, Gurdeep's Indian Cookbook, which she has written to offer traditional home-cooked Indian recipes.
The aim of Spice Rack Trader has always been to buy in quality herbs and spices, and they understand that food lovers require good ingredients, good quality, competitive prices and inspiration.
